So I have to have my wisdom teeth cut out.. fun. I'm not really worried because the dentist just kinda said they need to come out. There was no sense of urgency or emergency about it. I was going to wait another year or so but my wonderful girl friend is losing her health insurance because she is quitting her shitty job! ( we share dental / vision through her work ). Like I said, I'm not really worried because they will knock me out, take them out and send me home. I will get pain pills, follow the directions and should be good to go.
I guess I'm just lazy. This is going to be a 2 week process. ugh. I'm going to sacrifice a weekend being drugged up in re-cooperation. I guess I will lose a couple of pounds from not being able to eat, and get to play lots of video games.
Have you had yours out? What was it like??
I had good friends (your girlfiriend was one of them) who brought me mashed potatos, etc. and I watched a lot of crappy movies. Not to shabby.
ReplyDeleteWith me, they basically used a small jackhammer to break them up into small pieces, which they extracted with pliers. Also, I don't think my gums ever healed right because the stitches dissolved very quickly.
