sleeping with weird numbers...

So I am having weird sleeping issues. I always seem to wake up and look up at the clock and see what time it is. So far every time I have woken up so far the numbers on the clock always have some significant meaning to me or my past. For example:

This morning: 3:03 am - my address growing up! 303 w college.

yesterday: 04:15 am - my dad's cellphone number ends in 0415.

day before: 04:12 am - our apartment number.

day before that: 02:29 am - the area code for my cell phone.

Its weird. I don't know why I am waking up around this time but I cam consistently doing it. Its weird. When I wake up I look at the clock and I am confused, until I figure out what the time is relevant too. After I find out what the time is relevant too I just accept it. I'm like: "Ohhh so thats what it means..." Then I go back to sleep. Any ideas?

  1. The brain is basically a categorization and pattern matching machine. Combine that with the fact that we deal with relatively small numbers (0-1200) every day and therefore have some meaning associated with them, and voila.

As for waking up in the first place, a fifth of Jack should take care of that problem.

  3. And now for the real explanation-- The Matrix is totally fucking with you to make sure you're paying attention. It's a test to make sure you're still worthy. As soon as you see a number that you can't place, they'll deem you worthless and pull your battery.
